Personality:

Kapuki is quite the independent character, leaving the pride she was born in when she was just a teenager. She loves to explore and thrill of not knowing where she might end up next. However, Kapuki has felt that she needs to find a place to settle down and start a family. She is great with cubs, and has always wanted some of her own.

History:

Kapuki felt life in her pride was boring, so when she was a meer teenager, she ran away and became a wanderer. Not once did she have a traveling companion of any sort, although she stopped many times at prides or with other lions to talk with them. Since she left, she returned to her pride, and he first time, she had not been recognized. Kapuki has always loved children, as her pride had quite a few cubs when she was a teenager. She is very good with them, changing from a strong lioness to a softer one when around them.

Kapuki stopped at a watering hole, lapping up the water rapidly. She looked up and around and she licked the water around her nuzzle. Suddenly, she spotted the desert off in the distance. Kapuki had originally been planning to return to her home pride for a 3rd time, but she got a better idea. She had never been to the desert; however, that would change. She bounded toward it, barely able to contain her excitement. As she pranced through the desert sand, she realized that she liked it here. She blended in well with the sand, as if she was born to be here. She continued to run, looking at the gradually disappearing grasslands behind her when she ran straight into a male lion.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry. I didn't see you," She said, backing up slightly to give him space.

"It's fine. I haven't seen you around here before," The male responded, his voice deep and strong.

"I'm new here, a wanderer. I saw the desert and couldn't resist myself," Kapuki stared at the male intensely. "I'm Kapuki."

"Chaka. Why don't you come with me back to the pride for a bit?" He nodded his head in the direction of his pride, and Kapuki nodded eagerly. The two walked back to Chaka's pride, and it was clear that they hit it off very well.
